Bigfoot Johnny’s started on a cold Canadian winter night watching a hockey game. My friends and I were hungry and wanted to order some pizza. After waiting an hour for the food, it was terrible. Our overpriced pizza was a brick of dough, with little sauce, and barely any cheese or toppings.
I asked my wife a simple question, “Why can’t we get great pizza with dough like your grandfather’s and tons of sauce, cheese, and toppings.
At this point, she simply looked at me and said, “If you want to do something right, then do it yourself. Plus, nobody makes dough like my Nonno.” Boom…
Bigfoot Johnny’s was born. It is as simple as that. If I wanted great pizza, then I needed to do it myself.
